bought a groupon deal - $25 for mani, moisturising hand massage, pedi, foot scrub, and simple nail art.
i love this colour though. Orly I'm Blushing. other than that it was an ok-only experience.
no pics for the pedi yet.. no sun. but i had an unknown purple base with nfu.oh #51 (i think) over cuz i requested for 2 purple shimmers but the lady (who looks like dawn yang) said there wasn't any so she gave me this combo.
i had a 3 second foot scrub (which i totally didn't get to enjoy thoroughly because they played some boring hongkong drama on tv and i was watching it..) and i know it's 3 seconds because i saw the lady put the scrub, rub and wash, all within the blink of an eye.
the people there weren't exactly friendly. no smile, no patience. she asked what colour i wanted so i said purple. then she's like 'with shimmer or without', so i replied after thinking 'uh... without'. and then she asked 'dark or light' and i'm like 'uh... i dunno.....'. and she's like 'give you lilac la, lilac ok' and i'm like 'uh.... ok lor..'
so stress!!!! then the whole time they were doing my nails, both of them were bitching about some other person. haha i couldn't really hear what they said though, i just know they weren't very happy with her.
the mani lady asked what nail art i wanted. i told her i dont want any flowers and asked what options i had. she said polka dots so i said fine.
and she gave me uneven polka dots. :( if there's anything i'm anal about it's being uneven with dots or lines or any of that sort. i try to be as even as i can. but she gave me.. uneven... dots... all this while i wanted to punch myself in the face hahahahah i'm a little OCD just like that...
anyway the mani chipped on the 2nd day =/ good thing too. love the colour, hate the dots.
all in all, just don't buy anything from groupon. it's always too good to be true.
